World White cane day (15 oct)

United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO and World Blind Council reviewed and approved the white cane law at a joint meeting in 1950 And declared 15 October World Day for the White Cane or World Blind Day.

The white cane rule outlines a new image of the blind in the community.

In order to support their interests, asks blind people be aware of all Provisions of the law.

For example: The right to use all the usual amenities in the community by the blind people, Encouraging the blind to participate in government affairs and employment, Full respect for the rights of the blind when passing streets and etc.

Government officials should honored and celebrate the 15th October as the commemoration of the Blind Day.
